Sometimes, I think it's really easy to get caught up in things, to the point where it's easier to forget to be grateful. For the first time in my life, honestly, things are kind of slow, and I think it's been enriching; for the first time, with a placid heart, I can count my blessings and be energized with the state of mind to manifest new wonderful things. I cut more than half of my hair off again but this time... actually like it enough

I'm starting to see some of those "good things hidden off of the sidewalk" that I talked about in past journals. Otakon was a spectacular experience -- I'll upload pictures one of these days
I also got to travel to New Hampshire, Boston, the New York Renaissance Faire and Connecticut last week! I've never been that far north before! The Renaissance Faire was awesome -- my favorite part was when we watched the glass-blowing guy make a cup! The glacial mountains in New Hampshire were gorgeous and lobsters were only $3.99 per pound what
introduced me to Code Geass last week after I commented that I liked the costume designs. I'm really enjoying the show so far, because I diggggg a show that has so many underlying lessons and implications fdlkjdgjdlfjg. I'm in love with Suzaku. I'm halfway through the second season. He better not die. I'm already mad enough that he and Euphy didn't get married -- Euphy/Suzaku is now one of my OTPs, riding in the car (the back seat, but still in the car) with Ron/Hermione, Rapunzel/Flynn Rider, Priest Seto/Kisara and Fry/Leela. My heart is broken. Suzaku BETTER NOT DIE IF HE DIES IN THAT ANIME I'M GONNA POOP A LOT
On a somewhat-related note, I will never get over how wonderful and wonderful and wonderful Tangled is, either. brb gonna go sing like twenty million hours of tangled karaoke
on another kinda-related note, a lot of my friends have made my life especially holy crap wonderful these days.

I got productive and edited one of those music videos we recorded in ~2011~ (some of these clips were recorded at PariahCon and Otakon in 2011) and now, two years later we have another finished Cosplay Music Video!

I See All Those Party Lights Shining Ahead
Greetings from Baltimore, on the first day of Otakon. While I'm waiting for the con itself to open and for our pack of friends to make our ways to the con center, figure I'd give a little update.
So last year my Dell computer conked out on me, taking with it my video editing software and a decent amount of the video clips. I was grumpy and frustrated with the whole ordeal and sort of put it on the back burner, which is a shame because we actually filmed FOUR new cosplay music videos a while back that never got the chance to see the light of day.
