Blaghhfkjghfkhjgakjgdhjkd I'm still jetlagged I just got done farting around Greece and Italy. I swear I must have consumed 300lbs of pppaaasssTTAAA (and, guys, I thought Hetalia was kidding when the show said Greece loves cats...... bbbutttt I swear there are like 30598435830938 cats running around Athens, look at this cat I saw at the Acropolis: scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto…)
I've learned a lot from my aunt. She believes in the power of the universe and energy and has all these spiritual techniques to achieve happiness and get things you want. One of the methods she taught me was 'manifestation,' literally (in a nutshell) where you put out positive energy to get things. At first I was like "That's a little teeny bit silly," but then she said, "You know, I wish I had 500 francs so that I could buy a plane ticket." She did her happy energy dance. Then like three weeks later she cleaned her closet and literally 500 francs fluttered off of the top shelf because apparently the people who owned the apartment before her left it behind. So I was like, uh.
Part of manifestation is literally envisioning your (insert thing you want) coming to life and having visions about it. I want my book to be published, I want it to be in hard copy, so I figured if I made something tangible, I'd feel like I was bringing my book to life on another (very positive and happy!) level -- aaaaaaaaaaand if anything, I think it'd be really fun to just prance around as my own character. Pppppossitttiiveee eeennerrgyyyyyy.
So for Otakon 2014, I'm going to cosplay as one of my OCs!
(I'll be the guy in the middle). (Leave it to me to cosplay as a man of another race). This is an excuse to flail around in Baltimore and Detroit and the other random cities that have cons that I like in a sparkly frilly jacket and cape These are some of the kings from my story (there's a lot of royalty hohoho), King Tusca, King Gallio and King Walten (grandfather, son, father), crowned in 1949, 2012 and 1975 respectively. I designed these outfits sometime late last year and figured Gallio's would be the most fun to wear.Character development has been fun while writing the story itself -- now let's see how fun it is to practice that dialogue in real life
I guess I should list my convention appearances; I want to know ahead of time whoall I'm gonna run into! Let me know if you're attending any of these:
Definitely Attending:

That Which is Eternal
Sorry I'm so bad at uploading frequently, these days -- but, I promise, it's all been because I've been working on a super awesome project! That includes cosplay! And handsome men in dresses!!!
I've been writing a novel since about August 2011 (technically January 2005 but eh) and have been editing it since the first draft finished in July 2012. The first draft was a messy, sloppy piece of stink, but I never stopped believing in it. Over the past two years I traveled to a bunch of countries in Europe, meticulously studied literature and archetypes and societal implications, and taught myself the mechanics of writing and, at this point, have
CMV -- Break your Heart
Hooray! This weekend I had a beach retreat with ~bloodykaiba (https://www.deviantart.com/bloodykaiba) , :iconahiruwbox: and :iconswordfreakx: . I got productive and edited one of those music videos we recorded in ~2011~ (some of these clips were recorded at PariahCon and Otakon in 2011) and now, two years later we have another finished Cosplay Music Video!

Done in typical stupid Sunshine Duelist fashion  Camera mistakes, sure, and a girl's singing voice supposed to be Vegeta :XD: But for real, we really hope you guys like it and think it's silly and fun. T
I See All Those Party Lights Shining Ahead
Greetings from Baltimore, on the first day of Otakon. While I'm waiting for the con itself to open and for our pack of friends to make our ways to the con center, figure I'd give a little update.
So last year my Dell computer conked out on me, taking with it my video editing software and a decent amount of the video clips. I was grumpy and frustrated with the whole ordeal and sort of put it on the back burner, which is a shame because we actually filmed FOUR new cosplay music videos a while back that never got the chance to see the light of day.
Well, with my uncle's help I was able to tap into the depths of my poor dead hard drive and retr
Nobody Likes You When You're 23
And are still more amused by TV shows...
About a week ago, I celebrated my 23rd birthday by purchasing a new car. ...and eating a butt-ton of cake. There's this bakery near my house that's super awesome. I got a cake that's vanilla but it's dyed a bunch of different pretty colors 8D I had a really nice birthday, and I really appreciate so many people commenting on my profile here :boogie: I read all of those comments and treasure them!!
I also have been lucky in recent days to have been given a lot of art -- some of em are commissions, but some of em are generous presents and they're the best presents ever ever :boogie: I like my OCs too mu
