Julie's 21st Brithdae

June 12th, 2011, is the 22nd annual International Best Day of the Year Day, marking my 21st birthday! I was fortunate enough to have a birthday during a con weekend, this year- the entire PariahCon staff celebrated with me! here's a compilation of non-cosplay-related pictures that showed some of the wonderful things that I got to experience as a very old 20-year-old and a brand-new 21-year-old


The first bunch of pictures comes from PariahCon's ball, held during the final few events on Saturday night. I loved the chance to wear one of my pretty dresses! These pictures feature , , and (we are Blue-Eyes and Kaiba, no matter what we're wearing!)


Then, it was time for dinner! I was graced by the adorable presences of Sonnny Strait and Aaron Dismuke! They sat with me at a Mongolian grill and we talked about our pets and our past con experiences and all sorts of things.


Finally, it was time to go to a bar, where I'd be let in for the first time. The "must be at least 21" picture was taken at about 11:50pm on Saturday. Then, at exactly midnight, the entire bar sang hadpee brithdae to me, and I got my first drink! I'm not really a heavy drinker and I didn't want to get drunk, so I ended up just sharing a lot of drinks with all of my friends. Sonny and and didn't seem to mind much.


I could not have asked for a better 21st birthday. 8) I found one or two alcoholic drinks that I actually liked (I really, honestly, highly dislike the taste of the stuff) so I enjoyed myself, and I was surrounded by some of my best friends from school and one of my favorite voice actors of all time, Tonight I'll be going to Bill Murray's Caddyshack restaurant and then I'll go out with different friends.
